Tipper Gore Visits
None of us had previously been involved with any kind of celebration regarding the White House and so all of us were incredibly fired up... It turned out to be a wonderful warm full moon evening as the luxury yacht slipped along the length of the San Francisco Waterfront together with Tipper Gore and her guests. Immediately following a very long day on the campaign trail Mrs. Gore appeared to be laid-back and friendly. She discovered the onboard team by name and ended up being quite down to earth. The cruise went by far too quickly. A magnificent time was experienced by everyone.
When Mrs. Gore turned up in her motorcade every detail was perfect. She turned out to be gracious and approached every person and wanted to know first names which she remembered even at the finish of the cruise. The full moon was climbing behind the Bay Bridge and the bay was smooth, highlighting the rising moon.
